While most of us are staying home as much as possible and might not be able to hit the gym, that’s no excuse not to workout.

We have six exercises for you that will work your whole body and get your blood pumping.

Are you ready?

This programme is all about circuit training which means you’ll quickly move from one exercise to the next.

Do not come to a complete rest until you do all six moves. Rest for 60-120 seconds in between each round of the six exercises.

Put on a fun playlist, and let’s go!

Infographic showing the six exercises moves explained in this article.

Side Lying Leg Raises:

Lay directly on your side supported on your elbow and forearm. Have your hips pointed directly upwards and be careful not to lean your hips back. Bend the leg that’s on the ground. Keep the knee of the top leg straight and lift it to an angle anywhere from 30-45 degrees. Do not carry it too high. Pause at the top for one to two seconds before bringing it back down.

Mountain Climbers:

Get down on your hands and feet with your knees straight. Then alternately bring your knees to your chest in a running motion.

Bear Crawls:

Get down on your hands and feet with your knees bent but hovering off the ground. While keeping your hips higher than your shoulders crawl for one minute, moving your arm in sync with the opposite leg.

Wall Sits:

With your back against a wall, slide down and sit with your hips and knees at 90 degrees. Hold this position for one minute.

Push-ups:

Get down on your hands and feet with your hips and knees straight (beginners can do it with hands and knees on the ground). Keep your arms at a 45-degree angle to your body and bend your elbows to lower your body. Touch your chest to the floor then push yourself all the way back up (straighten your elbows).

Leg Raises:

Get down on your hands and knees. While keeping your knee at a 90-degree angle, lift your leg and push the sole of your foot towards the ceiling and then lower it back down in the same movement it went up in.
